Luminance & Radiance Sources
SphereOptics Luminance/Radiance Systems are integrating sphere uniform light sources designed to accommodate a wide range
of applications from night vision to remote sensing. Integrating spheres provide a near perfectly uniform source of radiance
or irradiance for testing and calibrating telescopes, imaging detectors, photometers, radiometers and many electronic imaging
devices.
Luminance/Radiance Systems are available in sphere sizes ranging from 10 cm to 2 m, each optimally designed with an output port
diameter to provide luminance uniformity of ± 1%. All systems are equipped with a light source assembly, variable attenuator,
power supplies, detectors, and operating software. The standard variable attenuator, provided with all systems, is a manually
driven micrometer unit that allows for control of input light levels while keeping the spectral shape fixed. An automated
variable attenuator and controller unit is available when more precise control of the light output level is required.

Integrating Spheres
SphereOptics offers a wide selection of taylor made integrating spheres designed to meet your optical radiation measurement requirements and applications. The integrating sphere are available in sphere sizes ranging from 1-inch
to 40 inches diameter with interiors of Optowhite® diffuse reflectance coating, or machined from their Zenith PTFE material. Standard sphere can be supplied with up to five ports, orientated about the 'Equator' and at the 'North Pole'. Baffles,
port reducers, port fibre adapters, detector adapters, mounting bases can all be choosen to meet your requirements.
SphereOptics also offers a selection of general purpose sphere assemblies designed for the most common optical radiation measurement applications.
The sphere assemblies are available in sphere sizes ranging from 1-inch to 8 inches in diameter with each sphere assembly having three three ports,
located at 0º, 90º and North Pole. Each sphere sizes is available with interiors of Optowhite® or machined from Zenith PTFE material.
General purpose sphere assemblies come complete with a baffle installed between the north pole and 90º ports, port plugs, port reducers, SMA adapter
and a height adjustable mounting post and holder with a sturdy sphere base.
Optional accessories including sample holders, light traps, filter holders, internal or external lamps with power supplies and manual or motorised varriable attenuators are also available.

Reflectance Standards & Targets
SphereOptics Zenith range of high performance diffuse reflectance stands provide an accurate, NIST traceable calibration for a
variety of optical test equipment including spectrophotometers, colorimeters and reflectance measurement systems in a laboratory and
quality control applications. The standards are available in two sizes, 30 and 50mm diameters with calibration options across the
ultra-violet visible and near infrared spectra regions. The Zenith material is manufactured from high grade PTFE polymer with highly
diffuse, near uniform spectral reflectance properties.
